History of Bishop's Pond

Graham Long produced a booklet with details of the history as well as recent activities at the pond.

A short history of the pond appeared in Fordingbridge Focus Magazine, Sept/Oct 2022, p.34.

It appears that the pond was for a long time known as Parson's Pond, and the name “Bishop's Pond” may have been used more recently by the developers of Normandy Way and Cottage Mews.
